The morphology of Gary Paller’s forms has its deepest roots in the unconscious. The softness of the geometric forms are, very clearly, retraceable to situations of the subconscious, buried in its hidden depths. Paller’s geometries are decidedly geometries of the soul. No mathematical relationship, no scientific rigour, only an interrelation of forms and colours that are connected, accumulated, detached; in short, that interact in a relationship that always results in harmony.
